Angels in Scrubs

Angels in Scrubs  Its 5a.m. You’re waking up to what seems like just another day. On the way to work, you pray to the Lord Almighty that it will be an easy shift. As worship music fills your car, you take one last moment to yourself before the chaos begins. You finish morning vitals. Breakfast trays are passed. And then suddenly, it feels like every call light is going off at once.  What do we do in these moments?  Do we panic? Do we stress out?  NO. We take a deep breath… and we walk straight into the loin’s den. I mean Daniel didn’t volunteer for the loin’ den. He was thrown into it because he refused to stop serving God. Healthcare workers don’t  volunteer chaos either— but every shift feels like stepping into it. The alarm. The confusion. The family members crying. The patients who are afraid. The weight of responsibility. Yet jut like Daniel, we don’t walk in alone. “My God hath sent his ANGEL, and hath shut the loin’s  mouths…” Daniel 6:22 KJV G...

The rose of Faith pt:2

The Bloom  As I listen to the last bit of this song, I lifted my hands and I praised him —even though I just gone  through something that should have made me mad all day. But instead of being upset about something I couldn’t change, I chose to praise him in this particular storm.  Then a another song came on ( Only for a moment) by- Danny Gokey and in that song mentions “ Even here there is hope buried in the hurt… before the bloom of the rose, there’s a season in the dirt.” We all know that when we plant something, it take water, patience, and faith for it to grow. Just like a flower, God does the same for all of us. As we trust Him, we have to have faith, practice patience, and drink the living water from His Word. The Dirt may look dirty, but there is...

The Rose of Faith Pt.1

The Storm  Today didn’t go as planned. I was on my way to an appointment for my wrist—an appointment I had been waiting months for. I’ve been dealing with this pain for years, and lately it’s only been getting worse. I thought I was finally going to get some answers. Instead, I found out they don’t even handle wrists. After months of waiting… I left in tears  I felt defeated. I thought I was finally going to move forward, only to feel like I was being set backwards. I went to another office and made another appointment— but it was a month away. Once again, I felt that heaviness. Still, I took that appointment. When I got back into my truck, I turned on the radio.  And what do I hear? “I will praise you in this storm” by Mercy Me

When Faith Feels Quite

When Faith Feels Quite  What do we do when Faith feel's quiet? do we go astray or do we stay quiet, calm in the storm? Sometimes it’s hard to stay grounded when life tries to shake your Faith. But we always have the Lord Jesus Christ. He will never leave us nor forsake us he says that in the Bible (Hebrews 13:5) KJV. He never promised that life would be easy. Life is hard. Sometimes nothing seems to go right. But Jesus is ALWAYS there- even when it feels quite.we are called to trust him. To believe in him. To lean on him. So I’ll tell you this, my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ- pray, pray, pray 🙏. It’s the most powerful thing you could ever do. We may not have immediate answers. We may not see results right away. But they always come in time. We may grow tired and weak- and that’s normal. Rest, my dear friends. Lay your worries, stress, emotions at the feet of Jesus. Breathe. Let yourself melt int...

The father who never let go

The Father Who Never Let Go    God uses our deepest hurts to reveal his deepest love. Earthly relationships may fail us , people may hurt us, misunderstand us or even fall short because in the end we are all (Human) but God his love never fails (1John 4:8) He that Loveth not knoweth not God ; for God is LOVE. Where someone may have hurt, didn’t protect you, God steps in and will . Where didn’t love you like you should, God’s love will fill all of your gaps that you have been filling. Where someone spoke harshly over you, God speaks purpose and identity. Even when I was in my darkest times, I was never out of HIS hands  John 3:16 For god SO loved the world he gave his only begotten son , that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have EVERLASTING LIFE.

Trauma

Trauma? We always talk about Trauma. But have actually and I mean actually gone through Trauma ? I mean Jesus literally had 9 inch nails in his hands and feet he was whipped he’s flesh peeling from his body he went through it all and for what?? He went through it so we could have everlasting life also mind you he is half man so he’s felt everything we humans feel yet he still died for us . He never said “ oh I’m sorry I can’t because of my trauma NO he went on yes we have trauma I will never deny that but if we just call upon the Lord Jesus Christ for Strength,Guidance, patience, wisdom, reassurance. Will I look at trauma a little bit differently now yes of course only because my own trauma WILL NEVER compare to his .  Verse to this message is  Philippians 4:13  For I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me..  Written by- Kat Marshall
